I also tried changing the load order by adding a space to the client name. I uninstalled again, then I ran Norton Disk Doctor and Disk Warrior, neither program found any problems. I uninstalled, set my extensions to "Mac OS 9 base" and installed it again.
#DISKWARRIOR 3.0.2 INSTALL#
Last week I tried to install the OS9 client on a newly purchased G4 (booted in 9) and on restart the machine hung as soon as it loaded the client Control Panel. I've also, over the past 6 months, installed both the OSX and OS9 clients on the network, again, problem free. I'm using the latest version of Workgroup for OSX on an XServe without any problems. I'm usually pretty good at troubleshooting these things but this one has me baffled. I've been using Retrospect for years and have never experienced anything like the following weirdness. Poll results for first and second place were about as close as the Florida presidential election, with DiskWarrior edging out Norton Utilities by less than 100 votes.
